Today, children are facing a rapidly changing world. This rapid change makes it difficult for us to determine what these children may need in the future. So much so that two-thirds of preschool children will work in jobs that do not exist today. (Economist, 2018). Considering that we train individuals to the information age, it is necessary to present computers in a way that children can use effectively from an early age. The effective use referred to herein is the use of mobile devices as a means of creating content and products, rather than using them passively. Software development of all electronic products we use is realized through algorithm development and coding. There are three important orientations for the introduction of coding education, as the literature predicts; visual programming, robotics programming, and computer science unplugged (Bower & Falkner, 2015). Algorithm creation and application steps are the basis of visual programming and robotic coding. Therefore, the first step in coding through a program is to use analytical thinking skills. In this case, it requires the ability to produce and solve different solutions for a non-routine problem situation. Computer science education is experiencing a rapid change in the world. In order to keep up with these changes, the starting point of the project is to develop a program to develop analytical thinking and creative thinking skills to teach the coding that forms the basis of the software. Coding education, which has become increasingly important in recent years, is important in terms of meeting the needs of today's society and providing the necessary equipment to the citizens of the future. Coding activities without developing algorithms and problem-solving skills cannot go beyond playing games.Coding is best taught at an early age because learning to code is like learning a foreign language. The sooner children meet concepts such as sequencing, cycles, and conditions, the better they absorb.

Specifically, in our project, we are going to focus on:

  • gaining analytical thinking skills
  • allowing the students to see the relationships between events or situations - helping creative thinking and systematic thinking
  • increasing problem-solving ability
  • promoting teaching coding
  • developing the capacity to understand coding and robotics
  • supporting and promoting the learning of coding and robotics education
  • increasing motivation for new information and scientific research

With our target groups, teachers, trainers, students, parents, and management teams, and the participators will have a chance to see and experience different practices, and exchange and widen their aspects, methods, and systems at European dimension; therefore, they can realize what should be done to achieve the aims of Strategic Partnership in Erasmus and 2020 European Union.
