We are a secondary vocational school that offers vocational subjects that are not taught so often. The school has branches in three towns – Karviná, Ostrava, Zlín and offers its students many after-school activities connected with the branch of their study. There are about 290 students and about 50 teachers in the three branches. The headquarters is in Karviná in the North-East of the country. The headmistress Slavka Krystová Florková is the headmistress for the all branches. The students from Ostrava will participate in this project. Students in our school start studying at the age of 15 and their education lasts 4 years. There are 20-25 students in a class and the number of girls and boys is roughly the same. In the framework of our educational program, the school offers students a very specific scope of security and legal activities.

Our motivation is to help the students and teachers to develop their communication, language, IT, social and creative skills which will be used in their future life, both personal and professional. The project will also support and develop organizational skills of the key persons as well as other teachers and students. The project work will lead to students' better school attendance and involvement in such kind of cooperative work. As the school in Karvina is situated in a disadvantageous region, the unemployment of the young people is high so participation in European projects allows students to be aware of the school education.Why we are interested it the STEM method as the base for our project? We believe it really is time to make learning closer to the students and this can only be achieved with the use of innovative methods.STEM is an approach and method that includes many other important methods, as project based learning, outdoor learning, learning with movement and experience.

The Aristotelio private school ARISTOTELIO is a secondary private school that includes Junior High School and High School, with ages ranging from 12-18. We are in the North of Greece, near the borders with Bulgaria. Serres is also about an hour from the second-largest and economically and culturally important town in Greece, Thessaloniki. The school has about 200 students and 30 teachers. Our students come from all social classes and from the whole surrounding area. The school curriculum follows the standards regulated by the Ministry of Education and the European Educational Syllabus, however, it also includes a lot of extra activities that focus on sport, art, languages and new technologies.

We have quite an experience in the use of technology and the Internet in the teaching process together with all the dangers it may involve and safety precautions. After 10 years of active involvement in European projects we have the expertise and the knowledge to run, monitor and disseminate Erasmus projects. Our students are well familiar with state-of-the-art technology and use it in their projects not only for Erasmus but also when working on projects for the school. In our school we have specific clubs for our students with subjects such as arts, sports and robotics. Robotics club is one of the most popular in our school. We use Lego EV3 and Arduino and we try and create interdisciplinary projects that combine subjects and problems form different study fields such as physics, maths and chemistry. Our 3 ICT teachers have taken courses in robotics and this project would be a great opportunity for them and also for our school.

15 Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie is an upper secondary school which provides students general secondary education and prepares them for the school-leaving exams (Matura). Our school is located in a big urban area, in the suburbs of Kraków - the southern part of Poland. It was established in 1958 as a primary school, then it was transformed into a secondary. At present there are 585 students in all the three years and 57 teachers. Following the educational reform introduced in Poland in recent years, students may choose the major subjects they are interested in, so they can specialize in humanities (History, Literature, Social Sciences, foreign languages) or sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Geography). There is also a wide range of extra-curricular classes and optional courses students can choose from – art classes, theatre, sport clubs, media and photo clubs, etc.

The teaching involves diversified teaching forms and methods, which correspond to the needs of students and their learning styles.Project team which consists of teachers and managers and this team works all year around.They make a need analysis .They identify the subjects and prepares projects on these necessary subjects. One of the aims of 15 Liceum Ogolnoksztalcace 2019-2023 strategic plan is to enable our students to acquire the 21st century skills in the field of Science,Mathematics and Technology. In recent years, it has been developing many European projects oriented above all to methodological innovation in the STEM disciplines and to prevent early school leaving. The school is involved.


Gülek İbrahim Gunay Secondary School is in Mersin,Tarsus.There are also a library,a laboratory,an ICT lab,an art class,a music class, agym, a supportive education room in our school. With Fatih Project,Smart Boards arE installed in every class. In our school, there are 192 students,12 teachers,2 managers. All these people participate actively in creating a pleasant working atmosphere responsible for further benefits and success. The teaching involves diversified teaching forms and methods, which correspond to the needs of students and their learning styles.

Our school's STEM Laboratory has a capacity of 15 people. Thanks to STEM, we train students who think analytically and problem-solving, perform process management patiently, adopt engineering philosophy and closely follow technological developments. Students, who are willing to produce mechanisms, gain skills such as material list, budget and workflow planning in this process.
